I am really confused regarding hops for one of the product I am promoting.I am sending traffic to this affiliate site thru ezine articles by redirecting my domain direct to publisher site. In ezine articles I saw that there were 50 URL clicks ,but in clikcbank anaytics i could only see 2 hops,so plz clear me dat how is hops counted,since I m reidrecting my domain url direct to publisher site,den why is that hops not counted.
I notice my tracking shows people clicking on my ad, to my landing page, and then to the publisher but the hops don't show up. Sometimes they are delayed. Sometimes not. I'm sure we all wish it was real time.
but the stats are for friday the 13th and it dint showed up till now.is it bcoz i m not using any landing page and redirecting directly to the publisher site. I mean 40-50 url click in ezine redirected to publisher site dat should amount to how many hops
hi guptishika ... a couple of things i can think of ... firstly, the timezones used for ezine vs clickbank may be different ... secondly, is your hoplink properly passing the link everytime? worth testing ... thirdly, some people may be running ad blocking software which can mean less hops than you'd expect ...
