Exactly!! It's bullshit that they don't send out emails informing people about anything. There's NO EXCUSE, NO EXCUSE for them to not send out newsletter/emails to affiliates & publishers about issues!!!

Don't hold your breath but I just made my first sale in 4 days. Came from a US Visa. But then again it could have just been one of those ones that slips through the crack.

That the problem is because of their "risk management" procedures dosent make much sence. I personally have been involved in the development of a payment gateway that is PCI compliant which is the standard in such projects. But none of the so called risk management procedures include anything similar to stopping credit cards to prevent risks or anything like that.

Such things Not only does not make sence but are actually against PCI standards about acceptable uptime.

Its really Unacceptable that a payment gateway (apart from unetichal) to stop a transaction even if there was a high risk transaction of lets say fraud before it. It can however stop a transaction if someone enter countryA but the credit card was issued in country B - but this is acceptable and far ceom clocking all credit card types!.

I know that NCMEDIA stated that this is really the case but i have to say that if clickbank told him so, its more likely they did as an excuse - because its more likely that they are still having more problems after that they themselves reported so....

Look at the index.. as well as the gravity of the top products

The top selling products are falling in gravity. Overall gravity is down.

I think the problem is that it is both a slow period for clickbank, and because it is a slow period for sales in general. September is generally a slow month. Things will pick up in the following months. It's a combination of techincal issues that Clickbank has been having, and this slow period, that made this drastic fall in overall gravity.

September is not a slow month. Everything gets better as you move from summer into the fall.

No doubt, it sure looks like CB is more interested in their perceived appearance than they are about caring about their affiliates. People could lose serious cash and they could care less.

It's one thing to lose sales monies but to let your affiliates advertise and get nothing out of it is ruthless. CB should have warned their affiliates about this crap. I have never had much faith or trust in CB. The multitude of scam products sold by CB sent up a red flag years ago for me. I wouldn't waste a dime promoting their products on Adwords, especially now.

    Peace,

    Herman
