I am currently running Commission Junction and so far pretty happy with it. I was read some topics here that some of you are making really good money with clickbank. I've signed up clickbank, and they do have many products that's related to my website. My question is am I missing something here? how different is clickbank from cj? I am using both links and banners from cj on my websites. thx for your help.
So much difference,For CJ you need a website and sales come from your website only and Most popular products in cj declines our Application,Which I don't like. Here you can promote any product, and you will get mostly 75% commission and in cj you will get 10%,20% like this and also you need so much traffic to convert in cj.In Clickbank you can promote in many ways ,You can promote by writing articles, using links in forums, using review pages and many more.you will get payment for every 2 weeks in clickbank. But what i liked in cj is huge affiliate payout for small investment in hostings business. You will know much difference in both soon.
A bit offtopic, but I checked out your website (GamesUpon) and I think you should change the forex banner on the top. I don't think that people wanting to play games, would be interested in trading forex. Instead put something like, how to make money playing games. Have a look > http://www.gamertestingground.com/ That's a Clickbank product.
Yes I just Kept it,banner is very attractive so i kept there, I am changing now,I did small experiment.I am searchig for gaming products with nice banners.i will try your link which you given.Thank You
I think of CJ as a generic for traditional products (shipped though not always but in general) with, typically, a lower commission. Also, I think there are a few more issues with CJ regarding vendor sign-up where as ClickBank is specifically designated for digital products from e-books, audio, video and such and only need $50 from you once approved as a publisher. Affiliates generally have a higher commission on CB because of the nature of the products, low overhead. On CJ you could sell almost anything digital or otherwise but CB is, again, download/digital focused. CB does have future plans for other goods to possibly be more like CJ, rumors, but read both offerings/terms for affiliates and publishers and check out the product mix for both, it will become obvious.
