Hey everyone. I'm thinking about joining ClickBank but i'm a little concerned with how they treat us Brits. Are the cheques cashable in your local bank and have you had any trouble cashing your cheques? Please, only British people who have experienced this need reply. Thanks in advance.
High, NineDesign, ClickBank cheques don't pose any problems for us Brits. Just deposit them into your bank account. However, note that your bank will take something in the region of £10 (~$20) just to exchange the USD into Pounds Sterling. Although it doesn't sound like much, it adds up and, after a while, really starts to play on your mind.
Hi I'm from England and have been using clickbank for almost 2 years, the cheques always arrive swiftly, they have never missed any. I use Barclays bank to deposit the cheques, you can either set up a US dollar account and pay the cheques in or the way I do it is to fill a 'currency to sterling negotiation' form and pay the money straight into my normal current account, only costs £9, not much but the conversion rate is terrible at the moment $2.1 to £1 You can pay in three different cheques as well and still only pay £9, you pay them in the foreign exchange booth that you find in all the banks. Go and speak to an advisor with your clickbank cheque and she will help you fill in your first form.
