I would like to ask all Clickbank affiliates on what is the minimum hops that you receive before making a sales (conversion) when you started out promoting Clickbank products. Also, what is your hops per sales amount? Thanks.
On the first product that worked out for me, I think I had less than 100 hops per sale, and I was using direct linking. Currently I can't estimate since I don't get enough hops and sales to determine a ratio. nadavs
I've heard that 2% (1 in 50) is a good conversion for most products. Perhaps someone can confirm this for me. For my product, my top selling affiliate has 3.5% hops convert. My second-top affiliate is at 2.9%. I think these two send traffic in through a website, but I'm not sure. One affiliate of mine has 10 sales in 35 hops during the past 30 days. Insane! I think he uses PPC. - FB
My best converting product converts around 1 in 12 or 8% but it is on 2 extremely targeted keywords. I convert fireboat's product around 4%. I do not have a product that converts less than 3%.
It really varies on the product that you are promoting and how well the sales page is converting or how well your pre sell page is. At the minute I would convert 1 in every 10 visitors. The best thing you want to do if you can convert 1:10 is to keep generating lots of traffic. A quick idea here is that a rubbish traffic stat for me is a product im promoting at the moment it converts 1:10 and I generate around 45 visits a day a usual get around 5-6 sales which is good as the commissions is $24 x 5 = $105 from one promotion.
