Clickbank Hoplink

This might be a stupid question but what is the difference between the html code given and the link given when clickbank creates a hoplink. Do you have to use both? What is the purpose of each? I have looked on their website but there is not a clear answer.

The html one you can post directly into your html page, the other link they give you , you still have to create the appropriate html hyperlink

 

The first one is a straight link to the merchant's page.

The second one is basically the same thing, but with HTML tags, which is required if you have a website and want to put the link.

 

okay thanks for your replies but what about the code what does it do? where do you put it?

 

you put it in the HTML of your site. the code allows you to hide your hoplink in a text "CLICK HERE" or in an image, in a pop-up, in literally anything you want.

i suggest you go search about some HTML guides online.

 

If you really want to learn, w3schools.com is a great, free place to learn html, java, php etc.
