I've been using Clickbank for almost a year now on my sports blog & haven't earned a penny from the links I've listed.

I've noticed the majority of the links, if not all of them, are linked to those sites that offer ebooks claiming to "change the world." In other words a $14.95 ebook that may not be worth it.

As a result I notice people are clicking them, but no sales.

How can I have more success with Clickbank with my new student loan website?

    Hi,

You should join an affiliate network depends on the type of your website/blog. Clickbank is not ideal for all types of niches.
I think CPA networks will work great for your new student loan website.

These are the main steps to have success with clickbank

    1) There is a PROBLEM people have
    2) There is a clickbank product that SOLVES that problem
    3) You know how to PRE-SELL your visitors so that they buy the Product(Solution) you recommend

Just putting links or showing banners don't work.

    Hope it helps

You need to sell Clickbank products that you think would be relevant to your target market. One good way to ensure this is maybe to have a blog with content that is relevant to the Clickbank product. For example, you can provide a blog article with good information about how to make extra income while in college. Then, offer a link to a Clickbank product that show how to make money from home. Just a thought....

This is exactly right. Clickbank is not right for all niches. I am not sure about sports, but have you tryed other programs? Many times there is only a few products in any niche that works, and you have to try them all untill you find one that works. Learning about a problem and selling the solution is your best bet with information products of all kinds.
