narci, I agree with you. I had been promoting ClickBank products since 2005. Many bought through my links to get bonus gifts from me then they claimed for refunds. Eraning to date = $0. Now I no longer promote any ClickBank products. The others claim that they are making a lot from ClickBank. We must be the stupid ones.
ClickBank, Refer to my post on http://www.clickbank.com/blog/2009/...rketing-on-msnbc/comment-page-1/#comment-6119 I wrote: "ClickBank is one of the best affiliate networks. It will be the best when the issue regarding “commission robberies†(changing of hoplinks) is resolved." If you have anything to say, please reply to my comment on your blog.
bl4ckmaN, You wrote "I wonder what they consider as "making enough to make a living"..." They are places where you can survive on bread and water. I guess $1/day will be enough. Add a bit more for internet access at cybercafes. precious007, You wrote "I've started earning with clickbank only since I've started investing time (research) and money .." You must be smart one. Congratulation.
There is a saying that says "9 out of 10 income come from business". There is also another saying that goes "9 out of 10 people who start business fail in their venture". That's the reality. So face it. Only the best of the best will stand out in the crowd.
Very Scary, but as you say, most of the affiliates don't even know what a landing page is, and the minimum wage around here is about $300/monthly so maybe the figures may be a little misleading. I'd like to see a nice survey about clickbank including topics such as - Age - Country - Prior experience - Formal Studies - Hours/week promoting affiliate offers - Earnings through other affiliate programs etc...
Some landing pages give links to their affiliate programs. Same as screaming "Get your own link and take the commission yourself".
100% true. It is also true what more and more people are saying, that ClickBank is defrauding its affiliates, and not paying their comissions
Its like anything really the 80 / 20 rule.. infact its more like 10 / 90 rule on CB.. as in about 10% of affiliates are active and actually generate 90% of the revenue.. I agree too most sellers on CB make up the most outlandish claims and dont give a rats arse.. its all about making some $$$
Each Clickbank affiliate and vendor has multiple CB accounts, so the actual figure might be still less.
mitnitwer wrote: "Its because 99.99% of clickbank products are junks, scams and these people who makes sales on CB are spammers who manage a sale every 3 months." There are a few gems in the huge rubbish dump. Unfortunately some good products have bad sale pages.
all we have here is blaming and no one suggest a solution to this problem or even a new aff network to deal with it.
saladino2004, You are right. I started this thread because I want to know how the others really made money from ClickBank. It is also good to know how to avoid "commission robberies". No solution??? Please read my comment on ClickBank's blog. I wrote: "ClickBank is one of the best affiliate networks. Go to http://www.clickbank.com/blog/2009/...rketing-on-msnbc/comment-page-1/#comment-6119 No parroting (heard and repeated) and no photoshopped cheques please. Thanks.
Commission robbery will always happen on clickbank for products orientated to e-marketers, since they know about affiliates. that's the whole point of buying the products, getting more commissions.
