ClickBank for gossip site?

    Hi all!:)

I have been using ppc ads on my gossip site for almost 5 years now, and I have been reading a lot of posts on ClickBank in here. Since Im new to this sort of "money making", I would really love some advice on this. Is it a total waste of time on a gossip site? If not, how would I start out in the best way?

Thank you in advance for your expertise!

    Best regards
    Mia

Gossip site? Those people search and reverse phone lookup products would be good.

I think it's hard to say what product would convert best without actually seeing your gossip site. I would just scan through clickbank's marketplace and see what products your visitors would most likely be interested in.

Getting set up with clickbank is really easy so it is probably worth a shot to try something other than PPC ads. I know on my blog when I switched away from PPC ads I made a little extra income. If you find that you were making more money with you PPC ads then just switch back!

I think probably not to be honest... I think probably the demographic of people just reading celebrity gossip online maybe arn't about to part with $50 for an eBook... but saying that I would simply look into your demographic... say you find out they are 80% women aged 30-40 then look at the types of products those people typically buy - health, beauty, weight loss, and test out some of these products...

I think you might have more success with CPA affiliate programs - where you get 0.50 say for every subscriber you make to a free offer / trial - again these could be demographic based - movies, health, beauty etc..

How much traffic do you have on your site?

One of those "free movies/TV direct to your PC" type services, of which there are several on ClickBank, might work well on your site.
