Clickbank Experts - Advise Needed!

I currently have a website selling a particular product which people can purchase through my own shopping cart ecommerce system.

I now would like to put that product into Clickbank.

To do that my initial thought was to create a completely separate web site for the product just for CB, while still leaving the existing site in place

But then I thought why not just create a specific 'sale page' and 'thank you' page on my existing site, but just for CB.

From my basic understanding of CB, they don't like that situation too much.

Any suggestions from the CB experts as to how best to do approach this?

give it its own sales page as affiliates will like that better.

and create a sales page from your website too and link it to the same order link.

Your thinking is OK. You can create a separate page just for ClickBank. There are some quite successful publishers doing that. However, many affiliates don't like this because if the customer decides to come back later and just types the website's address, the order will not go through ClickBank.

If you have a really great sales page which converts many visitors on their first visit, go for it. If not, try testing it yourself with your own traffic first (send half to the original page and half to the ClickBank page) and see what works best. Also see if the ClickBank page converts first-time visitors.

If all tests show that the ClickBank page is not converting well and most of its traffic comes back later to buy from the original order system, you should consider having a separate website.

    Good luck,
