Clickbank Employees on DP Shielding its repo

Discussion in 'ClickBank' started by jacky8, Nov 16, 2008.

    Guys,

I am a small clickbank affiliate.

I have seen most affiliates complaining of bad tracking by cb. For some affiliates, conversion have dropped from like 1 in 25 hops to 1:100

Then i saw Bl4ckman saying he is surprised to see people for whom sales are the same or have actually doubled.

Hey buddy, let me give you an idea. All the Clickbank employees are old and reputed members in the leading forums. All of them claim to be big money makers (some maybe)
Whenever there is a thread where discussion is going about clickbank cheating affiliates, suddenly a few members surface up to say that their sales have doubled or are the same for the past few months. Please, all are clickbank employees / partners or something. They know the reality and are here to protect clickbank's reputation as long as they can.

And they must be having simple tools to create fake screenshots to show you all. Thats not quite difficult. I can get a designer to make one for me for $25.

So whenever there is a discussion taking place about clickbank "problems", watch out those who say "there is no problem dude" and "work harder, i made double the sales today". So friends, Thats what i have to say.

Quite pessimistic, but it could be true as well...

At least, Clickbank has admitted that they had problems.

I've never had any problems with clickbank, and I certainly don't work for them

I havn't had a problem with clickbank but some of their vendors can be a problem.

I dont know if affiliates lose credit for this but some vendors direct to a "page not found" configured to look like their sales page. I found this out when I checked my site for broken links. Numerous links were not found but when I clicked them the sales page was shown.

Sensational... What are you on? LOL.

Jacky8 - I agree that this could easily be the case, but if it is, then so be it... Nothing we can do about it 'a?

What am i on? I stated a fact. On my site there were too many links going to "Page Not Found" pages that were configured as sales pages for it to be a coincidence.

    What to do about it...

Try to find out if affiliates are indeed not getting credit for links that go to "Page not found" pages configured like sales pages. If it is found that you indeed do not get credit/paid for referring then you stop promoting those products. Why promote something when you will not be paid?

Hey Mani(jacky8) you know me. I don't work for CB, I'm not a partner or an employee. Yes, sales have dropped for some (Most), that's for sure, yes CB has issues true as well but for me and the methods I'm using I haven seen a significant drop in sales, not an increase either but just the normal fluctuations. ;)

I find that quite a drastic thing to say. Yeah sure clickbank probably started real small between a group of eBro's in forums like this, but its not like that anymore. Its not people sittin around on laptops running this massive organisation.

IMO, clickbank is too bigger fish to be posting here and big forums.

If you worked for a company, would you work out of hours for free posting on forums just to help out your company? I know I wouldn't unless it was my own business. If I worked for google I wouldnt read and post in all SEO threads to boost my employers business. If however your the boss of a company or you hold a share in the business, sure, go ahead.

Just cant see Clickbanks employees here somehow.

    Just my $0.02

Jacky that is the mot ubsurd thing I have ever read, the thing is you are pissed along with countless others that your sales are down, dude don't fall into the trap or 'easy way out' by blaming clickbank, I;ve seen so many affiliates complain about this, and some that are making these claims get like 100 hops per week - give me a break!! I really cant believe how stupid some people here are!!

I saw no flucuation in sales and most def don't work for CB. In my opinion the issue has to do with people not being dynamic enough. What worked yesterday may not today. I constantly have to market new products in new ways as niches or promotion methods slow.

Yeah.....I bet your one of those people that are secretly working for clickbank.....why don't you stop wasting time on this forum and fix all the tracking and hoplink problems....

Good call Jacky8.........your right on the button

I also work for Clickbank and if you send me $1000 to my paypal account I'll make sure to tell the boss to fix all the tracking problems up that seemingly exist.

    :D :D :D

Officially, there are no representatives of CB in this DP forum. There may be publishers but what we need is an actual experience of real affiliates .

I do not agree with you that CB cannot do this. I do not know if they are doing it or not but it is posssible.. Have you evr heard of guerilla marketing?

Basically they can be paying people to post in forums creating word-of-mouse.

I can throw up a 100% genuine looking CB screenshot in seconds without even using photoshop :)

But yeah, I doubt clickbank employees would ever fake screenshots here. Its in their advantage to fix any issues us affiliates have.
