    From clickbank site

    "Dormant Accounts

Accounts with a positive balance but no earnings for an extended period of time are considered dormant. Dormant accounts are subject to a charge of $1 per pay period after 90 days of inactivity, $5 per pay period after 180 days of inactivity, and $15 per pay period after 365 days of inactivity."

    https://www.clickbank.com/accounting.html

This means if you as an affiliate are unable to generate money with in 90 days of opening your account you will be charged money ever 2 weeks?

As ridiculous as it sounds i hope it not true. I might ave to just cancel my click bank account then?

p.s. moderator can you please move this thread to clickbank section

Yeah it's true. I was wondering why the hell I was having $1 deducted from my account every pay period. The simple solution is to promote clickbank more which is their aim I guess.

Define inactivity. For example no lead, or no lead AND you don't log in.

I've never seen a fee like that and It's been a long time since I've made a lead with them.

er, guess it helps to click the 'reporting' link!!! It looks like you only have those fees if you have a Balance.

2007-06-16 I had a $3.11 balance and the next pay period that was taken out. The next pay period after that, nothing changed, as there was no money to give them. It just looks like a way to get the money from inactive accounts. You can start making sales any time.

Correct, they only take out the fee if you have a positive balance. It's not a biggie really, you need to be making sales if you expect a cheque to come in the mail :D

i emailed clickbank see what they say.

its not very clear what they mean by inactive account. Do they mean, you not logging in or you not making money?

Also, "positive account" is also unclear. Having a zero balance also count as a positive account? not sure?

You basically need to be making sales to remain "active". I agree though, they should be more clear about what they mean on their site.

Yeah, I lost about $60 by dormant account fees. Although once the balance was gone, they couldn't get any more - that would really suck if they started billing you!
