    Hi guys,

Today I decided to swith to direc deposit. But I have a question that I need to ask, and hopefully you guys could help.

I live in UK, when I used to receive checks it was in dollars, and had to pay to the bank £10.

So in direct deposit do I have to to pay those charges?

there may be a "currency conversion charge" or "foreign transaction fee" but I imagine it would be less than the fixed price fee when you deposit a check.

Usually you get the best rates and fees regarding converting money when it is all electronic versus going in person with cash or a check. So my guess is that there will still be some sort of charge but less than what you have been paying.
