zibblu, just read in another post that you do the publisher thing as well ... how do things look for you as a publisher at present? flucuations there too?
I pretty much disagree on this one. I`ve noticed all the super affiliates using cloaked links across all the products withing the site. Well not all of them, but at least 100 that I`ve checked lately. Normal hoplinks can easily be high jacked. It`s easy to use a php redirect script, with tracking code included. This is the easiest and cheapest method to cloak and track aff. links. You can track sales, hits on the hoplinks etc etc.. My sales increased 50% since I started using cloaked links... Customers actually look at those ugly affiliate links .. I remember when I wasn`t that much active I was always careful not to click ugly - long links .. it`s something natural ... Another reason cloaked links will always work better ... because they are 100% customizable.. http://www.yoursite.com/recommended/product This format will increase the customer`s trust .. in your site & product that you`re recommending.. etc.. Best of luck ! Alex
It's alright anyway, because that's not the problem....Clickbank is having other issues. So anyone have any idea about my situation?
Yes, I've experienced what seem to be unusual fluctuations as a publisher BUT I don't really get enough traffic with that yet for any solid statistical analysis.
Nah, digging - I got to first in upcoming (but no frontpage ) Sent around 500-600 digg visitors, around 150 clicked to see my product (one of norbs and boom. 1 sale in 150 hops. Free too
got a few random sales over the last few days. about $150 total. It seems to go in weekly cycles, nothing for a week then several sales then nothing for a week.
Don't really have a dairy yet ... but wanting to soon pop my affiliate cherry... Greetings from Arizona - I think what you've done ... sounds like a reasonable goal for me once I get my domain in order. Any suggestions you could offer me, new to this? I kinda have the same question. It seems I hear a lot of... promoting through AdWords ... but being a n00b - I'm a little skeptical of investing $200 right away. I've also heard of using eZine to write a review and promote the product... not sure how much traffic that can generate though. I'm looking for a small investment to begin with - I don't want to heavily invest until I get some sales What do you mean first PPC sales? Is that the technique you used, or is this your first sale through affiliate marketing? And this is what I'm afraid of for me especially after investing $10 in a .com ... and then more $$$ into AdWords. I've been trying to do research for MY niche by using eBay Pulse - and the words there are a good idea ... But when searching for similar articles to review and promote @ ClickBank ... I've been having a difficult time interpreting the meanings of the numbers under the search results (ie Dev% etc) I've looked them up and their meaning - but how do you interpret them so you know its a profitable niche, with buyers but not a lot of competition? Any help would be much appreciated =S
for the last 30 days average of one sale per 54 hops ... but for the last 7 days, one sale across 254 hops ... across a mix of products - diff types and brands granted, not high volumes, but, all organic traffic so all as targeted as it ever was you would think
