The only reason I want to promote forex is because of those huge commissions....but once I start doing my keyword research, I can't go anywhere far, lol

There's quite a few decent keywords (long tail) that get good searches. I know JIMZ is selling lots of forex tracers/funnels each week from them.

    2 cents worth:
Great thread. I'm eating up the info. I'm a newbie and you guys are making me nervous.
I saw where Circuit City filed for bankrupcy after big layoff. Big car makers are drowning. Lots of lay offs across country seems would spell fewer sales because people are worried about spending.
I've been racking my brain to come up with products that people really need at a time like this.
    Seems like Earth4Energy would prosper...

On paydotcom there are really some good products listed on make money online niche but others really sucks.

Now when clickbank is such wired, supper affiliates must force merchants to change their network to paydotcom or similar.

Let me tell you one short story...
I was promoting xbox 360 repair product of chris from clickbank network, i was making sale for every 20 to 30 hops then situation changes i had not made a sale for 200 hops.

Man I was stucked with the situation...
Finally decide to find Similar product on Paydotcom, Surprisingly I got same product by chris.. Though the merchent url and sales copy was different I decided to give it a shot.

Guess what, I was again converting for less than 35 hops and currently I have steady Hops to conversion ratio.

Moral is Diversify, Search other networks. If clickbank is eating our money enforce merchants to chose reliable network partner.

The only thing that still holds me on Clickbank is that some people say that their sales have increased or doubled, while others say they went to complete zero....

    Tell me that's not weird....

I wanted to try Paydotcom but I haven't found any products there even remotely similar to what I promote at CB. I'm sticking with Clickbank for the moment (despite the BS) - surely they'll sort things out soon if enough people are complaining.

Yeah, actually that's another reason why I want to stay with Clickbank....

PDC products really suck :( And the choice is very little there.

I was making consistent sales and decent income with Clickbank over the past year, but I have made one sale in the past month or so.

I am not one to give in or give up for that matter, but I think my time promoting Clickbank products is close to over. I love CB, but it seems like too much work to get what seemed to come easy about 3 months ago. Not worth the hassle anymore.

You know everytime I start feeling like somethign is wrong I will then get a few quick sales. It is really hard to pin down what is happening. I am not ready to abandon Clickbank yet.

    Same thing here!

I'll literally have weeks where I pump out 60 articles, get a rush of traffic, then no sales. Then, just right at the moment when I feel like giving up, I'll get back to the $100-$150 days....
