"ClickBank has continued to capitalize on both domestic and international demand for digital products, posting a 26 percent revenue increase last year. Total revenue for 2007 was nearly $300 million." It's amazing to know that by selling information a company can easily make $300 Million. There was a time where the difference was between the haves and the have nots but now the difference is between the one's who know more and the one's who know less. Knowledge is indeed the ultimate power one can have. It's great to know that we are in the age where knowledge can be sold. Keep up the good work clickbank.
Is that their revenue or the total amount of transactions? If it's just their revenue, they have over $2-3 billion in transactions. That is an enormous number. If that's the transaction amount, their profit is about $24 million per year. nadavs
I believe I heard that clickbank has about $1 000 000 of transactions a day... so about 300 million a year... which, as you said, leaves them with under $25 000 000 a year... which isn't too bad I guess Alex
This is why I love being an affiliate marketer, I do the work and get the majority of the money, then the publisher gets a chunk for doing nothing but creating it, and then Clickbank gets paid for being Clickbank.
ahhh.. hmmm.ahhh. i'm speechless! haha. seriously, i knew that they are the biggest affiliate network, but those figures still surprises me.
For creating a QUALITY product people actually NEED or WANT.... And developing the website to sell the product... And dealing with customer tech support issues... Affiliates and publishers both have it good... but I don't think it's fair to suggest that we publishers do nothing.
