Clickbank Credit Card Processing Problems Persist, Appear to not be Imaginary

Yup today is horrible. My sales are so off the charts now, I get a huge spike day, then sales just dry up the rest the week, then a huge spike the next week one day, then sales dry up. I've always had consistent $100-200 days up till sep 10th and on.

I think the guys who say nothing is wrong and say "you just need to work harder", probably don't make very many sales to begin with. There are lots of variables at play. I get half of my sales from the US, the rest from just about every country clickbank will take money from, and there has been something wrong lately, and maybe it is foreign credit cards starting with a 6 or some other stupid programming thing like that, but it is real, and it isn't "the kids are going back to school" or "the economy sucks".

 

Well to put things into perspective, my average day was $600-$700 for the month of Aug, then that dropped off to $300-$500 in Sept. Today I should be at about $150-$200 (this was where I was at each day for the past week), however I am only at $70. All my sales for today are by Paypal only.

There has to be a problem today. Is everyone else getting all forms of credit card sales (AMEX, MC, Visa, Discovery)?

 

I'm a tiny fish in the clickbank pond, and certainly no bellwether of clickbank's health, but i just got a sale an hour or two ago and they used mastercard.

 

Ya man today is horrible im at a big fat zero so far which is very very very rare for me. My buddy that does even better than me woke up to $90, but hasn't made another sale all day.

Will find out if he had any CC sales.

Well same for me here. I only made one sale today and that too with paypal. No credit card sales. Extremely strange.....

 

hmmm... it was a bad day to resume my ppc campaigns! Zero sales for me too, in 4 completely different niches.

 

Thats roughly the same trends that i experienced lately, the only difference is that mine are on a larger scale.

Something must be going on for sure, things like this dont just happen for no reason....

 

What pisses me off the most is that Google Adwords conversion tracking is showing that I should be at $240, because their stupid cookie is being stuffed into another person's sales. My click/website is what gets the people interested in buying, and then they go off to some other affiliate's website and actually buys off them, thus counting it as one conversion for me! Just retarded

I'd rather not know about other people profiting off me, as this mismatch happens in Adwords every single day. If only my CB sales matched my Adwords reported conversions, I'd be extremely happy.

 

Just got another by AMEX, let's hope it continues but right now I am losing money in Adwords which will be a first in almost 6 months!

another mastercard sale!! yipee, I've been getting 4-5 sales per day average, I think its just a slow month!! And it depends on what product you sell, different product sell better at different times of the year! Always remember dudes to diversify and promote other products.

 

Mate, there is no reason to be mad or piss off right now. If you do read my first post again, you'll realize that I never said that CB doesn't screw up sometimes. But I did say, complaining on this forum is not really going to change anything for you or for everybody else.

CB screwed up in the past, they screw up now and they will screw up in the future(nothing is perfect on this world). Can we really do something about it mate?

By the way, when I advised you to go over your campaigns again, I was actually looking out for you and I am glad that your sales are getting back on.

By making this statement you suggest that any downturn in sales must be down to the affiliate.

I agree with you, complaining isn't going to make any difference, but it gives the opportunity for everyone to share that they are experiencing the same problems, it reassures you that IT probably isn't something you did wrong!

I had a few sales yesterday and one of them was through VISA (the first since before September 10) so hopefully things are getting back to normal now.
