    Just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed the *money* made by clickbank affiliates increments by 11?

    I imagine they are simply using an average, in other words, it's not real-time.

    Counter like that are rarely accurate or particularly useful.

    Taken from Clickbank's twitter page.

    So.. it's apparently accurate? Who knows.

    Actually, it's just a javascript that increments by 11 every second. You can see this code if you view the source on the page:

    $('#counter').jOdometer({
    heightNumber: 17,
    widthNumber: 15,
    delayTime: 1000,
    increment: 11,

    it's incrementing 11 every 1000 miliseconds. So it can hardly be accurate. It may be close, but not that close.

    It's "real" in the sense that it displays an average income. Probably. They wouldn't just stick a random number on there...
