I have a digital product I'd like to sell via clickbank. Are there any statistics on what % of clickbank purchases get charged back? Also - if anyone has experience setting up a clickbank account (to sell a product - not to be an affiliate) - please PM me and I'd be glad to discuss compensating you for assisting me in getting set up. Happy New Year
As I'm not a publisher at Clicbkank I can only tell you some infos about the refunds. The refunds depend on the quality of the product... there are products that are refunded in 30%-35% of the time, and there are products that refunded 3%-4% of the time. Unfortunately there are guys out there who purchase a product at clickbank, and right after they downloaded the product, they ask for a refund.
Feel free to check my first sig link, as well as our newest arm of business http://www.merchantallies.com I may be able to help you quite a bit. NC.
Maybe you should check out the tool mentioned at here on the forum. I can't post the link because I don't have enough posts but the subject reads something about reducing clickbank refunds. It looks like it helps to reduce refunds. Refunds are higher on clickbank than other processors like paydotcom.com but you also get a lot more exposure. Obviously if your product is good you'll get fewer refunds. Then again I've heard of top rate sellers who won't touch clickbank because of the refunds.
if your product is decent or if you dont hype it up like crazy you should have a refund rate under 5%
