I noticed on a few products I'm debating whether to promote the front page has an email grabbing form. If a product I'm promoting has an email contact form would the affiliate get commission or the product creator if they sent the user emails to get them to buy it?
It depends. If the vendor is honest, they will leave the affiliate's cookie in place and the affiliate will get credit for all sales. If the vendor is dishonest, they can overwrite the affiliate's cookies and the affiliate will not get any commissions. You should probably test it out...chances are the vendor is honest, but be aware that you could always end up getting screwed.
