Hey, I don't think that you can do that. I mean I tried that too but it didn't work. It will work, but then it'll not have your affiliate id in it. :(

I think what your looking for is just the structure of the link...

like say earth4energy, it would go to 1.earth4.pay.clickbank.net

just the vendor id at the pay server at clickbank to go to payment page.

the first number varies, i think its for a vendor who has multiple items

I'm sure someone will come behind me and correct me or improve my answers!:D

but to use your aff link: clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURID_MERCHANTID/ProductNumber/ProductName

I don't recall exactly what it is, but it's something like this...

    1.AFFILIATEPUBLISHER.clickbank.net or something like that.

Here's the deal, no cookie. If they leave and come back later, you get no credit.

Supper is right in that there is no cookie dropped unless the customer buys the product immediately.

Here is how you do it...

    1.affid_pubid.pay.clickbank.net

The 1 refers to the product number they are selling.

It is a time-wasting idea since no cookies and obviously you won't get paid for subsequent visits.

zxlewi: I assume you don't want visitors to replace the urls with their own (friends, relatives) to get the commission.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to do this? Are you wanting to protect your id or something?

no i dont but i dont want them to be reading similar information over and over again... all they wanna do is buy the damn product :p

and i could actually use a php redirect from another page of mine to hide it more or just a tinyurl account like ewen chia himself uses

Oh I see, your own landing page? Then send customer to checkout instead of original salespage? I had to do that for an adwords campaign. The salepage sucked but the product was awesome, so I had to improvise.

Does this get you proper credit though. It should, however, when I did a test with it (about a week ago) the tid did not show up in my report..???

I didnt complete the sale so is that what you guysmean by they have to buy immediately. Tracking IDs wouldnt work or be recorded?

ok, i just tried it, and it you still want to do this, the structure I wrote works and keeps your aff id.
clear your cookies, then see your aff id on the bottom like normal.

    clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURID_MERCHANTID/ProductNumber/ProductName

try it out. you will keep referrals like this..

The code I give you will give you credit for the sale. The only thing is that if the person doesn't immediately buy you don't get credit for the sale.

Or what you can do is, cookie the visitor with your affiliate ID when they visit your landing page - and then link them to the order page directly.

Here's the code I use to set a cookie: (Put this on your landing page):

    <img src="http://AFFID.PUBID.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=TID" height="1" width="1">
    Code (markup):
^What this basically does is create an invisible image with your cookie in it - so that you get credited for the sale even if the visitor does not buy through your link.

Link to their order page directly:

    <a href="http://item#.PUBID.pay.clickbank.net">Click here to Buy X-Product now!</a>
    Code (markup):
    -Bhavik.

I wouldn't advise it. The sales page includes disclaimers, FAQs, contact forms etc.

Proness' solution is a good one, especially if the sales page sucks. This is the way to do it if you want to bypass the pub's sales page. There are some 0 gravity products with horrible sales pages but when promoted right can make you some money.

you're basically stuffing a cookie, are you allowed to do that?
