You guys seem to be doing well. I have been doing article marketing for some time now, and it works if you keep trying. You can also differenciate as well.

    Keep up the good work!

You should try other techniques as well, trying to make money with just articles is not going to give you consistent income!!

Well, I tried doing article marketing as a break from the other stuff that didn't make a consistent income. Except adsense, it consistently makes me like $0.05-0.50 a day.

well article marketing is probably not the best solution!! I think you should try blogs and link the articles to them. Or use squidoo and hubpages or wiki and link them all to your blogs to get higher SERPS and organic traffic.

Maybe I've missed something, but isn't this the whole point of article marketing.

It does take them more time now. Maybe they have a flood of new articles that they cannot handle.
I had to wait for more than two days to get my articles approved, something that hasn't happened to me since my upgrade to Platinum.
    Wishing you more sales,

echoing what the other guys have said mate, Top Bombing! I punched the air when i read u got your 1st sale!
I'm about 3 weeks behind u on this game though, takes me about an hour an article at the mo, minimum!, dont know how u mange 20 mins! and only done 10! Done about 10 USfreeads plus a couple of lenses but early days so not expecting anything just yet.

Just a couple plus a couple of questions!:

    1) When u say you got 444 hoplink clicks, is that from a variation of ads, or one landing page, plus how do u check, is it done on google analytics? And are you driving 20 or more ezine pages to one squidoo page?

    2) Interlinking all ur pages: if all ur blogs and squidoo pages are landing pages, u want people to go to the sell page right, so how do you link them up discretely so the viewer doesn't go to another landing page by mistake?

    3) Optins: How do u set these up? Do u mean the html code u set up on say usfreeads that a customer gives email details to? Or r they opting in on ur marketing journey?

    4) I haven't tried adsense but is that like placing Ads from google on your blog and hoping to sell stuff or get paid for clicking on?

    5) And! When u quote the ammount of clicks/times a visitor has visited ur site, do u go to the sites individually to check, or is there an all in one software which does it for u?

Please excuse these real beginner questions!

Hope u get more dollar soon pal,

    cheers..

Hey Supper I just read this entire thread and think that its absolutely amazing! Well done! I just wondered, how do you track the clicks through to the sales page? Is this done on ClickBank or somewhere else? Also I recently read a blog post about the site www.articlemarketer.com where you can submit the same article to loads of sites instantly. Do you think this would be better than just using one?

They go to various landing pages. Most are my own sale pages I've made. Sometimes I have them going to a blog or squidoo page.

Also the 444 is the amount of total hoplink clicks and that's for all products I've tried advertising.

Well, I'm just starting something like that. But if I was to do that, I'd have like an Other links section to put stuff in there. If someone is on your lense for forex, than I don't think you have to worry about them clicking off to your other landing page for constipation cream.

Opt-ins are email addresses I collected. I put them on a sales page or squeeze page. I offer a free ebook( i wrote) and they just have to put their name and email in to get it. So basically I get a list of emails that I know are interested in my niche. I'm actually using phplist right now to collect them.

Adsense is paid per click. Much more strict. You'll get paid more selling clickbank products.

I find out my clicks by using the feature on the 30daychallenge site. I did the 30 day challenge not to long ago, and you can put your hoplinks in it and it'll give you a link to put on your site. Everytime it is clicked, your account ads 1 to the count. So I can keep track of all the clicks. You can sign up for the 30daychallenge.com, it's free and somewhere in the dashboard of the members area.

Just read the reply above. I believe you can also get the stats from clickbank by going to reports and than site analytics.

I'm not sure. It may. I haven't really tested it.

Wicked! Cheers for all that! I was going to ask how you tracked your hop links in Q1 but you answered it in Q5- your the man..much tidier way of keeping it all together- so with all those hoplinks, does it tell you which one was specifically clicked or is it a count of all of them supplied in one box?

It is separated and I can divide it up as much as I want.

I can make an individual link for one product on various sites, like squidoo, blogger, my own sales page, etc.

Well, I'm in a pissy mode now. I don't feel like writing. So I'm going to jam a pen in my foot and write anyway.

    Edit:

Also I'm going to be working on another site with article marketing, accept this time I'm going to use adsense as revenue generator. It sounds stupid, but it's a domain name I have sitting around that doesn't really have anything to sell. The only affiliate that would work with it is amazon and they pay piss poor commissions. It's something I'm going to try to do, as an experiment to see what happens.

Hey, I'm sure sales will come soon.

Crap happened today. I got really bad spyware on my computer. I admit I screwed up, but damn this was some awful spyware. I went to download the software to remove it, but it just wouldn't remove. So I booted into safe mode, from that point on the task manager no longer worked. The spyware ran in safemode. Crazy stuff. I could no longer get on the internet after that. It was completely blocked off by the software, so I couldn't find a solution.

I spent most of my time today, backing up stuff, reformating, reinstalling and finding drivers. Grrrr!!

After a rough day I was hoping to see a sale, but none, GRRR

    total clicks 535
