Oh and I forgot to mention.

What really sucks about Clickbank is that I have not been paid. You must have payments from at least 3 different sources and must include Visa & Mastercard.

So far I had everything except Mastercard, which means no payment for me

If I had MC I would buy something myself just to release it

Just made another sales page for a 3rd affiliate this morning. And I submitted one article so far for that affiliate. First article submitted as a platinum user ha! lol.

I think I'm going to send my first email out to all my subscribers. It's not going to contain any affiliate links. It's just going to be good information to gain their trust.

 

19 opt-ins out of 166 clicks. That's a nice 11% opt-in rate. I wish I had it...
Are all these opt-ins verified or some of them still need to confirm?

That sucks. Not even 1 sale with 35 published articles

 

I have done some article submission in the past and from my experience it does work really well and takes time.

I have had articles up which made no sales until a couple of months later

Exactly. If I take 20 minutes to write an article and 2 years from now it makes me $20, that's a rate of $60/hr for my work.

Well, I have 7 articles submitted so far today. I'm going to do a few more to bring the total to 10 for the day. None have been accepted yet. Did ezine articles staff take monday off lol.

Tomorrow I'm going to make an attempt at pumping out 30 articles for the day. I know it's a big number but I think I can do it. My biggest problem is that I have a hard time writing consistently over a long period of time. I tend to get up and walk around or browse some sites and it really isn't that efficient.

So tomorrow, I'm going to pump out 30 articles. That's the goal.

Didn't get many clicks yesterday since none of my articles were accepted.

Well, I'm starting out with my 30 article submit today. Yippie!

 

Wow, I forced myself to work on articles.

Promised myself no break, no viewing other websites, only articles. I said, I have to write 10, than I can take a break.

Well, 10 articles submitted, in just under 1hr 30minutes.

 

Okay, I'm at 25 articles right now. Ezine articles hasn't accepted anything yet since yesterday, so I have 35 articles sitting in queue. Did they take the day off lol or heavy submissions?

I'm running out of ideas to write about lol. I don't think I could write another 30 tomorrow. I'll end up killing myself.

 

Articles still haven't been accepted. Grrr. What's up with ezine articles? Finally get a platinum account and they just let my articles sit in queue.

Oh, I still haven't sent out that email to my subscribers yet. Funny thing though, someone replied back to my email I sent out the ebook with asking me for advice. I replied obviously and gave some good advice. Also mentioned that I was planning on sending out an email to people that got my ebook explaining what their question was.

I wish ezinearticles would hurry the hell up and start reviewing my articles. On my basic plus account i was reviewed within hours. Now I'm on platinum and I'm approaching 48hrs.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here getting no traffic to my site and I have 35 active articles, and 37 sitting in queue. God damn!

Writing all those articles has tired me out and I didn't do any today. I'm going to make yet another sales page, of a new product and write some articles tomorrow.

Look like Ezine needs to build a larger staff. I have basic plus and my articles are usually seen within 24 hrs.
Not this weekend though. I re-worked 7 articles on fri. and there still sitting in queue. I feel the pain.

I'm going to slow down the amount of articles I submit and I'm going to focus more on how I write them. Going to emphasize the actual product I'm selling as a solution for a problem.

I think you should try another method of promotion dude!! Maybe try and make some blogs with Blogger.com or wordpress then digging them and linking to them to relevant sites. I only use articles for backlinks and targeted traffic. I think maybe your prob is how you are writing your articles , for example "Does your article contain keywords on your niche??", "Is your articles optimized for google?" - meaning is the keywords in the title and body text of article? - or "are you using kws in your text-links on the article?? ", these are things you need to factor in!! If you've done that then maybe you should look into your niche and see if it really converts well - you doing alot of work mate for very little return and you might be wasting valuable time on a niche that sucks!! Try finding a niche that has a good conversion rate like "run your car on water" - that niche I;ve done very little work on but I make one sale on that product every week!! Anyways mate I admire you determination and persistence, all the best mate!!

 

I read your entire thread and I think as well as pumping out articles your and get some links from other blogs or sites realted to your niche?? Maybe make some squeeze pages from usfreeads or wiki and link them to your sales pages?? It just seems a little inefficent that your making all these articles and not getting any ROI for your work.

 

Yes, yes and yes.

It's a learning a process. If I want to look at ROI's, I could get a job at Burger King for $9/hr instantly. Don't even have to think hard either.

 

To explain a little further. First niche I went with was a very small niche. Products had a low gravity. I'm trying some more popular ones that have high gravity now, so we'll see how they go.
