Try a new challenge now - get a sale between Monday to Thursday. ;)
The checks are sent about one to two weeks after the pay period ends. You still got a chance for a check over $400.
    Congrats,

I set up a twitter. http://twitter.com/amadsense That will be my article marketing adsense journal if anyone wants to follow. I'll add it to my sig.

    -----
lemon, you can understand why I don't want to share it. I'll reiterate that I know nothing about sales or landing pages. I'll tell you exactly what I do. I goto the landing page of the affiliate I'm selling, and I just make a shorter version of it. But I sort of mimic it. I use different words, but it conveys all the same points.

My latest one I made has the "dear reader, blah blah blah..." than I put in a testimonial, than I made bullets(directly from the affiliates sales page) listing off all the benefits and put a link at the bottom.

Basically all I'm trying to do is take the good off the affiliates sales page.

Alright, cool. But, like, where do you set up your landing pages? You don't seem like the kind of guy that would buy new domains for every landing page, lol.

    So what, Blogger? Squidoo? Weebly?

Oh, yeah, I followed you on Twitter by the way.

Congratulatioins again on your success. It was always coming your way and I am sure this thread will be alive for a long time. Do not stop posting your success and achievements here ok. Keep this alive man, you did a great job. I do not think you should stop article marketing at all.

Review the articles that made the sales, there is something in those articles that triggerred the readers to buy after reading your words.

So you have made $350 in 40 days, can you imagine 365 days from now what you'll be making everyday! Think about it.

Oh I don't buy a new site. I haven't invested anything since I started. I have domains that I use now, so I just used them. I set up my landing pages in sub directories. Not the best for SEO, but it's a great way to test the grounds before you start investing in domain names.

Oh I won't be stopping article marketing. I have no desire to stop a proven money making method. lol. I will keep it updated with sales information.

Ah, awesome. I was planning to start doing that too, don't know where to start really though.

What do you use to build your landing pages?

Gosh I feel like such a noob lol.
This just might be the last question... Unless you say something interesting... :p

I just use basic HTML and I also use a low competition keyword, just to gather some SE traffic.

Since I'm working harder to pump out my articles to different article directories and using unique content for all of them.

This is how you can turn one article into five unique ones.

Your first article is going to be in point form style. (intro paragraph, points, conclusion). You can make the points a sentence or two.

Now take that article and write out the points into paragraphs and just rewrite the intro and conclusion.

Now take the article and this time you're going to try doing question answer style. Like someone is asking you a question. You say it in the article. "How do you ...?" and write out an answer from the a few points. Make sure you ask a few questions.

Now take the article and write it out like you're having a conversation with someone.

Finally, write the article again, accept this time you're going to write it formally (with know "you"'s, "i"'s, etc).

Bam, one article turned into 6.

I've been seeing this thread for a while now and must say this is a awesome thread. I learned a lot from this already and can't wait for more info. I started article marketing too and quit PPC and with 14 articles I already have 1 sale! Keep up the good work.

    Thanks everyone.

    Back to basic stats here.
    total clicks: 833
    1 sale today

The amount of articles I'm submitting to ezine articles have been going to down lately because I'm working on diversifying. Less articles at EA, more at other directories. I'm going to get up early tomorrow and pound of more articles. I tend to work better early in the morning, so why fight it lol

OK, so I've read a lot about article marketing lately, and I'mma take that up more seriously too. The point on article spam I made in a thread still applies, so watch out submitting too many directories. 5 or so is enough. Like Ezinearticles, GoArticles, Searchwarp, ArticleDashboard and iSnare are probably the best ones.

And, a tip on writing articles I picked up yesterday...
    DON'T write a conclusion!

People expect you to do that because that's how the majority of articles are written and that's what you learn in school, right?

So if you skip "wrapping it up" and just finish with the main body of the article, the readers will be left feeling that the article is incomplete, and therefore will want to finish reading it...

And that's where your link comes in :)

I don't really see the problem if I'm writing unique content for each directory, but there is no way I could write unique content for 100 directories lol. I'm writing unique content for a few directories. I'm trying to find that balance of link juice and traffic.

Also about the conclusion stuff, I was told that you should try to wrap up your article in the resource box(This is advice from warrior forum).
    ----

I had another sale last night. Constitutes as a sale yesterday. $18 commission and it was about the first articles I wrote in this journal. I remember people coming in saying "all that work with no sales, doesn't seem like it's worth the effort", well the effort may not of payed off instantly, but it's starting to pay off now.

I'm up early this morning to do some serious article creating.

Oh I just noticed something I need to nip in the butt now. I end up doing an article or two for a specific product I'm selling and stop. That isn't enough to know if the product is profitable or not. In fact I have just 1 fatloss4idiots related articles and I wrote that a few weeks ago. I'm setting down the guideline of at least having a minimum of 10 articles.

Well, if you wrap it up, whether in the resource box or not... That'd still make it a "complete" article. You don't want that, you wanna leave them hungry. Make sense?

Obviously I should follow my own advice and actually get to writing the damn articles instead of reading about how to write profitable articles...

I understand exactly what you're saying. It's against the rules to leave it open ended. What I do is I almost promise something from the article, and under perform. Meaning, I promise more than I give. And I wrap it up with, but I leave the reader without all the information and a link that claims to have them lol.

    Whatever works for us.

    -------------
More news, I think I finally solved my issue with getting articles accepted earlier in the week. As everyone knows, last week, by Thursday morning, I only had 2 articles accepted at EA.

So far today on Monday, 10. I've picked up two reasons why.
First, whatever category you submit too, there is going to be a turn around time. The one I submit to the most is basically the entire 48hrs. So I have to pump out articles on thursday, to get them accepted on Monday.

Second, diversification. Some categories are real quick. In fact I had some articles that I wrote earlier today accepted today. So I'm mixing it up now.

    -----

Also, Two of the three products I don't have enough articles for have been finished with 10 a piece. Still working on the third.

    -----

No sales yet today. I think I'm going to continue with my Monday drought. Hoping Tuesday will be better.

    ----
Edit: As I wrote this message, 7 more articles were accepted. That's 17 for the day so far.

Edit 2: Another theory on why my articles are getting accepted earlier in the week. Cause a lot are getting accepted now for some reason. My queue of articles was approaching 40, so maybe that flags my account for immediate reviews ?
