I know that there is another thread on this already but that was from 2008 and I wasn't sure if I'd get in trouble for resurfacing that topic again. Basically, I'm trying to make a 4K per month profit margin from Clickbank strictly using PPC. I talked to several PPC management companies that are willing to do this for me. I have about 800 USD for my first month adspend. My primary problem is that the click costs seem to be really high in just about every niche. (1-3$ per click) How can I find a product to promote in a niche that isn't already saturated? At first I was thinking that I could promote the Rocket Language software because the average EPS is around 70$ and it would only take about 72 sales per month to reach my goal (assuming my adspend is somewhere near 3,000) Is that realistic or simply too ambitious?
Honestly - start on something that pays less, normally the more it pays the harder it is to convert and more money it costs testing
My advice to you will be better manage your ppc campaign by yourself. You can cut cost there. Use some tool like speedppc, adwords accelerator etc to track campaign. Also usually I like to promote clickbank products for which gravity is less as there will be less competition in that.
Yes, thank you Overdose0101 ! I am totally frustrated.. I spent to many dollars on (salehoo) dropshipping wholesalers directory for nothing. Now.. my question is "Can we still use PPC to promote clickbank products ?" Or what ? and, is it profitable to promote Clickbank these days ? Thank you
lol abdz I've been losing my head over that same question for quite some time now. @bluebelt. Although managing my PPC campaigns sounds more fiscally responsible I don't have the skills or time to do it properly as I will be starting college again on Monday. In the end I'd lose far more than I would make so I wanted a professional to handle all of it. Also, when you said lower Gravity how low are you talking. Anything in the 40s-60s? It's always been my impression that products with really low gravity are failed projects that simply don't convert. Am I wrong on this?
Clickbank is still profitable if you choose the right products and promote them a little differently than everyone else. My understanding is low gravity means less people are promoting that product so you have less competition. If you get into a small, profitable niche market and promote it well, there is a lot of money to be made. One idea is to choose keywords that aren't so competitive. Using your example "Rocket Language" - if you are trying to use keywords like (rocket language, language software, learn a language) you will be paying premium prices because everyone is doing that. Instead you can do some brainstorming to come up with lower cost kw that will also target your market. Ask yourself some questions: - Who buys Rocket Language products? - What else do they buy? - What are their other problems/concerns/needs? - What else do they search for online? You may be able to come up with lower cost keywords and still reach your market - thus saving you a bundle in costs. I don't know how this will pan out for you. It seems like a lot of money that you need to earn with only $800 ad spend. This is a lot easier to do if you manage the campaigns yourself. But you've already said you don't want to do that. It may make sense for you to look into a PPC training program (AffiliIT.com, PPC Coach) where for less than $50, you can learn the skills required. This way you will be able to run your own campaigns long into the future - thus providing you with a long term income instead of a quick $4k once off. Best of luck to you. I hope it works out.
800$ is only my first month adspend. Whatever I earn from that would be re-invested in addition to 800$ for every month after that. I'm already getting training from Wealthy Affiliate. Who said anything about making a 4K only one time? Yes, I know that. I don't have any doubt that they give you the commissions owed to you.
I've tried rocket languages but it just doesnt seem to convert, I must have had over 100 hops and no sale. I created a review page for it that for a while was in the top few results for Rocket French Review. Also tried ppc towards it, like you say the clicks are almost $1 each, and so far no luck. I have found 2 products that I'm promoting now that get a lot of searches, so building up on those and see if I can make more sales. I'd say avoid products with a gravity of 150 or higher, too much competition. Of course Im no expert so my my advice is not valid.
