    Does anyone here use Google Analytics Goal Conversion feature to track Clickbank traffic?

    What do you put for the "goal URL"? I was trying my hoplink but no data is tracking it. Has anyone been able to get this function to work?

    to track conversions usually you need to contact the publisher and ask them to put a tracking code on their thank you page.

    not sure if you can do it with GA it might be more for tracking conversions on sites that you control maybe.

    I am actually not looking to track sales but how many times a visitor clicks through to the merchant page. So basically where my "hops" are coming from.

    If anyone is interested I have actually figured out a way to track sales without having to install code on the merchant page.

    What I like to do is set up a page with a meta redirect to my hop page with my analytics on it.
    E.g:
    <analytics code>
    <META
    HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh"
    CONTENT="0; URL=autoforward_target.html">

    Hope it helps.
