For those who generate clickbank sales through blogging, do you just put up a review of the product with only your affiliate link in that article, or do you also put up banners and other links of the affiliate product around your blog? If I were to put a review up of a product, it would seem like my review would seem more credible if there weren't other links and banners promoting the product around the site, but maybe I'm wrong? How do you approach promoting clickbank products through blogging?
Personally, I wouldn't add banners. It just makes it look.. yeah.. (can't find a word ) First I write a few (5 or so) articles on the subject, and then the last thing I'll post up is a product review. At the end of the 5 or so articles I made before, I usually put something like "If you want to solve your 'insert problem here', you might want to check out my review on 'product name here'" and link it to the post where I review that specific product. I don't know.. something like that.
I agree with scribblez. Make sure to tell people why they should use the one on your site what it offers and why it is better. I would also say that your offering it at this one time low price
You could flat out follow the goForexTrade.com formula.... Write many articles in your niche, about certain topics that are hard hitters in that niche. Every once in a while, do a review on certain products within that niche. You will gain authority and credibility in that subject, and people will be more trusting to your reviews and such! Promoting affiliate products through blogging will require much more than only writing articles. You will also need to consider other aspects of your blogs such as keyword, SEO, linking and many more marketing strategies in order to monetize from it. Unless you're only planning to do a personal blog about yourself...... In a sense, you must make sure that the articles in your blog will reach your targeted audience. Its no point of doing hundreds of the best articles in the world when they were not read by your potential buyer.
You talk about "many more marketing strategies." Can you throw some more out there for some more ideas? I'm pretty aware of keyword, SEO, and linking. I'm kind of not sure where to go from there, or if I just keep repeating. Thanks for the ideas guys. I like 'em. Unlike before, I'm blogging about something that I'm actually pretty passionate and knowledgeable about. It really is a good feeling.
