Clickbank and Adsense.... the best way?

A few months back I joined with CB, Picked a good paying subject, made a simple landing page of a review of the product and put a link on it to the affiliate sales page.

Then I went like mad trying to promote it for the 1st week every free way I could. O.K I admit I was a bit naughty and put it on a few forums, that was probably a bit too spammish!

The result was 4 sales in the 1st week but I realized I could not carry on like I was. I since tried Squidoo, with no look and various other similar sites and Bookmark Sites. And used E-Zine.

I only have ever sold four

Lately I have not bothered at all, but it makes me think if I can sell four in the 1st week surly with more experience and practice I could get sales all the time

Does this mean that my mini page sells it well? And if so would it be worth advertising it with adwords?

It is very nice to know that you made 4 sales in the first week of your promotional efforts.
Surely you can make more sales if you can send targeted traffic to your pages through adwords.
Make your landing page better and choose your keywords carefully.
    All the Best

I believe your mini page sells well. But you need to be careful before starting with adwords. When I first started with CB I did not have a website and I started only with adwords. I made good sales but advertisement cost took most of the money out of my sales.

Its good to note that you are successful in free methods. You can try adwords with little investment.

There are many ways to do it. But I have to let you know that Google now slaps advertisers for using a single page landing page.

If you read their note on quality score, only proper websites can obtain a high quality score and do well in CTR and low bids. I suggest you work on that. At least you know that the products can sell.

Try other traffic driving methods as well such as those I mentioned in my free report ie article marketing, social bookmarkting etc

Yeh thanks, another thing that makes me wonder about Adwords is that my Mini page/site is written as if I have used the product, its a bit like a story. I suppose it looks more like a blog I have written, It does have about 4 other pages giving bits of advice tho.

What I am gettting round to say is: Wont visitors wonder why have paid Google to advertise for this 'My Acne Cure' mini site.... or wont most of the general public realize.

I find that the best thing to do is to keep logs of things you do.

Try Squidoo for a week, write down how it did.
Try this ad for a week, write down how it did.
Try forum posting for a week, write down how it did.

try similar changes with your landing page. I find that otherwise I tweak stuff too much and don't know which change increased the conversations and which didn't.
