I finally am going to receive my clickbank cheque after making 5 credit card sales. I noticed 10% was taken out of my cheque for allowances. From what I have read, clickbank will eventually pay the allowances back to me in my next paycheques. However, I do not plan to use clickbank anymore. I have removed clickbank from my website and thus will not be making anymore sales. Would this mean I am not eligible to get the allowance back? Or would they still mail me a cheque with just the allowances? I have another question that concerns inactive clickbank accounts. Over certain periods of time, Clickbank will charge you if you have not made any sales with a "positive" account balance. I was thinking of simply closing my account so this would not happen. But if I have already been paid my cheque and haven't made any sales afterwards, and thus a "positive" balance does not exist, then nothing would happen to the account right? Is there any harm in just leaving the account there, or should I close it down? I probably will not be using it again, but you never know.
I would leave the account open. If you are asking if they can actually charge you money that's not in the account - no, that won't happen. And yes they should eventually pay you the allowance as long as it's over your min. pay setting (I would set it as low as possible if you are really keen on getting that allowance.)
It sucks that CB take little amounts out of your a/c if you don't make sale. Pretty damn cheeky if you ask me.
they release the allowance after like 2 months or something. so unless its above $100 then its unlikely you will see that cash if you're going to stop using CB.
