Dear All, I have been thinking of designing a website for a clickbank product with videos, building the customer up, explaining differences, etc, although I was wondering, how many other people actually do this? does it increase conversions? or is it just a waste of time? Thanks
I wouldn't mention the Clickbank aspect of it, as most savvy users would make sure you didn't get the commission for the referal. You could do a site on reviews of digital goods without mentioning Clickbank, or even better you can make the site niche related so it will be easier to attract potential customers for you to refer.
its a great way to go. getting that sale is what counts and that style really impresses a potential customer.
Try to use specific keywords for those ebooks in the marketplace search. Clickbank adds and removes many sites everyday from its marketplace. So, the ebooks you are looking for may have been removed. check again
the more you put into it, the more you will get in return. Definately the way to go if you want to increase sales.
How do you do this? I am just starting with click bank, haven't done much yet and haven't had any sales sounds like a good idea to me.
ok.. but dont disclose your affiliate url. make a php/js redirect when u r sending your visitors to clickbank's sales page.
Ok, and ideas on what it should look like, think I'm going to include an reseller rebate to entice people against other sites.
you will have serious hijacking if you mention clickbank. if only people selling products through clickbank learn to do cloaking to protect people like us... anyway, videos are apparently the way to go, seeing all the youtube clones right now. you might want to consider a text-version (transcript or something) so that you don't lose out on content (seo)
Hi there, Videos help to sell the product and increase your traffic so it's a win-win situation. Make sure you cloak or redirect your affiliate link to avoid having your commissions stolen. I hope this helps. Enjoy your day! Terry
Can anyone tell me about this cloaking or redirect to hide the affiliate id. I'm promoting affiliate programs and suspect I'm losing sales becasue of the affiliate id being lost en route?
Hello Paul, Ordinary visitors ( not internet marketers and affiliates ) usually do not have any understanding about affiliate programs and affiliate links. So, if you are promoting general products or services, you shouldn't worry about cloaking your links. what type of products are you promoting? If you are promoting products to internet marketers and affiliates, you should try to cloak links as they may already know about the commission you are going to get. So, the necessity of cloaking links depends on the type of products you are promoting and the type of visitors you are getting.
Ok, I've written all the content about something I haven't even seen or read, sounds pretty good though, saved $20 on a content writer there, although how can I get videos? Really I should go see people with my video camera, pop them $5 or $10 and get some like that? Also I need photos of people with expensive things, how do I get round that, as all stock photos look stock photos, get what I mean. Thanks
