ClickBank / AdWords Spying Tool

Over the past couple of days I've built a tool for my personal use. The tool is used to discover Clickbank products that are successfully promoted with PPC.

The way it works is you create a "campaign" which is a collection of keywords. Then you let the script do its thing for a couple of days. The longer you let it do its magic, the more accurate the results will be.

After you created a campaign, you can check which Clickbank Products have been advertised, by which Affiliates, through AdWords for the particular keywords you entered in the campaign. Each Product-Affiliate combo is also assigned a score. The score consists mainly of the period of time this product has been appearing in sponsored search and how consistently it has been appearing.

The script is also able to differentiate direct vs. landing-page ads.

What can you get out of this?
If you know that a particular Affiliate has been advertising a particular Product for a particular keywords, consistently for a week, what does it tell you? Chances a VERY high that this affiliate is running a profitable PPC campaign. There aren't a lof of affiliates which will run campaigns that are not profitable for a long period of time (hence, the importance of letting the script do its thing for some time).

How can I make money with this?
So you have now found a profitable campaign without having to dish out your own money and test it yourself (which can be very costly). So you can immediately start your own profitable campaign promoting this same product or alternatively you can create your own similar product and publish it on ClickBank.

Here is a sample campaign I've been running this morning (way too short to tell much about profitability):

    AFFILIATE PRODUCT TYPE SCORE

    UNITEC DEXPERT INDIRECT 10
    UNITEC CELLMAGIC INDIRECT 11
    NOVAINFO1 PHONESRCH DIRECT 14
    UNITEC PROCASH7 INDIRECT 33
    UNITEC BIGDEALS5 INDIRECT 50
    -----------------------------------------------------

    Code (markup):
A score of 100 means that the ad has been appearing every single time since the script started monitoring this keyword.

So the question now is, should I use this for my own good only or should I make this tool available to others?

Or maybe this already exists and I've been wasting my time :p

Would you be willing to dish out some money out of your pocket for this?

What if I had proof that using my tool could statistically and historically bring in a certain % ROI?

Of course this tool could not be made publicly available. A limited number of people using this system is key to keep it sustainable.

Now, I want to hear your toughts. :)

This tool already exists but in saying that it all comes down to how you market it.

What makes it better/different to the ones that are already out there? (not asking, but that's what you should be asking)
