I run adwords on a clickbank product. I tried all the ways from keywords to keyword optimization. I have aweber for follow up messages. Spent around $100 in a week. Still not yet single sales. Shall I try another one week or shall I give up cb+adwords? Do people really earn money joining as affiliates? I guess only the product owners earn money.
Been at it for two weeks, spent a lil time making a couple ads, used a 50 dollar adword voucher, suppose to be 70 dollars, but now i'm at 20 dollar charge with 90 dollars in sales. I'm getting a real good CTR on one of my ads, but I suppose today is just an off day :/ no sales.
I just made a direct sale of my own breakdancing product (launched yesterday) after only 51 clicks via adwords an hour back, so yeah.. it's working for me.
It works. The problem is to find the correct keywords. Some keywords no matter how good they seem they are not selling keywords. On the other hand the Ad it self is crucial. If you use something like free product, and free keywords, this will not work. Bottom line is the product as well. Maybe you can try with some other product as well and than compare your results. Good luck...
I just received a $50 credit today r adwords, ill try it out like next week or so.. my first trial with cb and adwords!
Adwords can be more difficult and risky - if you are new to affiliate marketing I would never advise starting on it, but first doing some article marketing and learning how to make landing pages - getting some success with this, findout out what works for you, and then doing PPC to get more traffic to the types of keywords you know convert for you - to dive in without doing this can be really hit and miss.
Adwords is a really tricky beast. You must be very persistent with your testing and closely monitor your keywords. There are tons of e books and stuff on the subject out there but who knows. I have yet to break out into that world yet.
Can you afford another week? People do earn money as affiliates, but I find that either they are lucky or have invested energy and time (and moeny) in learning how to do it well. They have not given up!
Try getting some adwords vouchers (you can get them here on dp) and experiment with what ads work, then may be spend more $$.
I don't have luck using adwords to promote CB products I've tried many times using different keywords and niches, but it didn't work at all, big zero
I dove into using PPC on a few products this month. It has been working really well for me. I've been averaging $200+ a day in pure profit. Some days are better and only one or two days have been worse. I would have to say that whether or not you make money with it depends on a few things: 1. The product. 2. Competition for PPC. 3. Your ad copy. 4. TESTING > Very Important. 5. A stroke of luck.
I've always found that I make way more money on the content network - in adwords, and not actually running them in google searches w/ keywords. Then it's just a pruning game. You cut off the websites on the search network that aren't converting for you, and push more money to the ones that do. Clicks are a lot cheaper, but you have to keep a close eye on it so that you can cut the crappy traffic websites as quick as possible.
I would suggest you to take quality product. Just ask whether the product looks useful for you, say if you are buying ? Find such product and slowly increase your CPC, you will see good results. Also, keep an eye on keywords and have only related, focused keywords. Definitely, you will start making money soon ! Also, have a try on Commission Junction products too which i feel comparatively good to CB's.
