Do you think it's better to have 1 or 2 paragraphs of a post on the main page and then a "click to continue reading" link that takes you to the full post, or the full post on the main page and people only have to leave the main page if they want to see the comments.

I think its beter to have at least 2 paragraphs of the topic. Then place the continue tag,,i use this as it cleans up the home page,if you have 10-20 articles on your home page it would be real big page..and look untidy i think.

Best to use only an excerpt of your post on the landing page.

Excerpts annoy some people, but most people don't mind one more click if they're actually interested in what you're writing. Plus, if someone copied or steals your content automatically they usually only get those first two paragraphs, and not anything after the 'show me more' or 'click to continue reading'.

If you offer full posts in RSS won't that be bad for your site because people won't bother ever visiting it if they can see everything from the feed reader?

Yes it is better to post just one or two paras of your post.
It helps reduce duplicate content and if the readers find the post interesting then they won't mind clicking the 'continue reading' link.
