Yesterday I had a sitemap made, so my site was abnormally slow as crawler runs my site. During the peak time when crawler operates, my click through rate fell sharply, to zero for hours. I normally get a few clicks per hour. Then as I am almost with the sitemap generation, click through rate appears to gone back to normal as site response rate goes back up. Makes me wonder what could've caused it. 1. User runs into slow site, gets annoyed, leaves right away without clicking on ads? (page view per users hasn't gone down through). 2. Adsense clicks may not record properly when site is running slow?
