Click Through Rate? 2nd Page Google

I did some research on a keyword and from multiple sources it showed that the keyword was getting 250+ searches per day on Google.

I'm now ranked between 10 and 15 on Google, bouncing back and forth from page 1 and 2. However, I'm barely getting 1 click per day from the keyword.

Is the CTR really that low on page 2? To where 250 searches would only produce 1 click on a website that's on page 2?

Or is it more likely that the keyword tools over-estimated the search volume?

The numbers could be less than accurate, but yeah being on page 2 really isn't any good.

yes, you will get less than 1% click if you listed at 2nd page
therefore everyone is looking for the first page

Seems true statistics. 1% CTR on 2nd page.

I have noticed myself that even if you are on the 1st page you don't get many clicks, you have to be in spot 1,2 or at minimum 3 to take advantage of any substantial amount of traffic.
