Some great information right there. Banner blindness is indeed becoming more and more of a problem and I strongly agree that ads should blend well with the overall style of the site in order to not make them blatantly appear like ads. Let's face it most people hate ads and mostly ignore them during their webbrowsing. In order to make them more noticable it's best to incorporate them into your overall site architecture.
