I have a site that gets over 1,000 visitors each day, but not many clicks on my adsense ads, If I was to put something telling people to click the adsense ads (not touching the actual code of course) will google consider that illegal ? or can it be it done with no problem ?
it's not allowed, it's written in their policies under click incentives. Better leave the ad alone but place them at best as you can on your site. You should not settle with less than 5% CTR (depending on your niche of course)
If you read thoroughly the Adsense Program Policies, it stated clearly that encouraging other people to click on your ads is against the Adsense policies. - Dynashox -
like everyone else, i can confirm this is against the Google TOS. eventually they will find out, and they will permanently ban your account. Graeme
basically it is a one way ticket to get banned. Just do some good placements, and you be doing fine with 1k visitors
I concur. It is a surefire way of getting your AdSense account banned. With good traffic and proper ad placement, you won't have to beg for clicks.
A person of average intelligence who had read the Google TOS would know the answer straight away. For those of lesser intelligence... just do whatever you want... more money for me.
