    Hey-

I am working with a company that scores negative results for their brand name in natural search. The negative result(s) are the R1p 0ff Report.

I have created over 20 off site search pages that are relevant to the content, built back links to these pages, and have repopulated the first 20 results in the SERPS for the target term.

However ... the negative result we were trying to suppress remains. In fact, it has risen. In addition, I have actually replaced the actual brand name with a piece of developed content – real bummer.

The content I have developed is all legit – contextual press releases on high PR sites, converted internal URLs (.net etc) subdomains, deployed blogs, articles , multi-media, etc.

We have success with every search engine except Google and algos using G.

What are your opinions on the weight G gives to click rate for a given search term? Its the only thing I can figure. When people search for the given term, they automatically click the negative result first, giving it a higher click rate for the term. Its the only thing I can think of.

    Any Suppression tactics or ideas?

    Thanks – Del
