He could just block him but he should report the guy too. The more clowns like this there are, the fewer advertisers will want to use content sites to advertise on. The advertisers lose, but so do the legitimate publishers.
That kind of crap never ceases to amaze me. And the fact that they get away with it is most troubling.
I think it all comes down to one thing, age = maturity level. Guaranteed that person is under 22 or so. I tried to explain adsense to a friend of mine who is 20, offered to get him started (he doesnt have a very high paying job and just trying to help him out), and he goes to me, - "Yeah son, and then what, I just go to mad peoples houses and click on my own ads?" , /sigh. Yeah nick, thats what you do... I gave up on him then, if that was his first thought on how to make the most out of this program, its obvious he wouldnt last very long before getting beaten with the ban stick.
Is is just me? or do kids today not want to, or feel they should have to, work to earn? It just seems to me that kids today have misguided a sense of entitlement.
wow, that is so blatant, it's not even funny. Google should come down hard on such selfish criminals. Well, they are effectively stealing, aren't they?
Well, Google got back with me today. They did a full investigation and they're crediting my adwords account. I checked the link and it looks like they've banned his/her account. http://www.theoyeucau.com/googleAD/index.php They had adsense throughout the site as well and now they don't http://www.theoyeucau.com/
I think it's more that they don't expect anyone to be interested in their non-authority content. When you first enter the arena, you think to yourself, who the hell would want to listen to me? I entered the business when I was 17. It took me some time to realize that yeah, the big guys don't control everything in the business. Running a website is not like manufacturing tires.
Well if you watch MTV's new show Sweet 16, then yea...you're gonna see some kids who have a misguided a sense of entitlement. Otherwise I don't think so. Every generation has had this said about them at one point another. Remember the whole gen X 'slacker' thing??? Our society as a whole promotes self gratification, and what I call the Disposable Age. People want a bargain, so everything is made cheaply, and there are more things for more people...but it also ends up in the garbage pretty quickly. Of course if it weren't for that Adsense/Adwords might not be much of a success.
