Try sites like fiverr.com, gigbucks.com. If you are a good writer, you should not have any problems getting orders. Everyone needs content, so it will never be out of demand.
I have heard about a method, where you write a quality article about 10 pages long, and sell it as a kindle version on Amazon. I have done this myself, but perhaps you would be interested?
Article marketing is not as effective as it used to be. You must supplement your articles with your own hard work, rather than relying on the site you are posting the article.

Well within this industry it's who you know not what you can do, get out there and network and I am sure you will find some clients. People Per Hour is another one however the wages are very, very low.
You just need to have seo optimized article, much better if that is unique articles but it really depends on your client.
ANother different Suggestion: create one blog/site, put your rates there, so after when U have done job of writing to any client, ask them to give feedback on your blog! So the blog gives you a very good proof to all of your customers.. U can show that blog and can get more work daily! Hope it may helps!
