    Fine: Sorry about that post, I totally misunderstood your thread because I clicked on this thread differently than I usually do and my son was pulling at my pants asking me to pick him up! lol

    My original post can be read for comical review in the quotes below! :)

    Perhaps because the YPN Terms and Conditions state that only clicks from US visitors count?

    I think because he might have had the impression that non-US clicks don't count. I have the same impression.
    ---->8----

    At this time, the beta version of Yahoo! Publisher Network is only available to publishers within the United States. We will provide details on availability in other countries as soon as they are available.

    and...

    you are a US-based business and you are operating Your Site and/or Your RSS Feed solely for viewing and use by users within the US; and

    ---->8----

    20% of my traffic is Canadian, so I set up PHPAdsnew to Geo target against non-US visitors so I don't risk getting clicks....I show everyone non-US G ads.

    Actually, to be honest, part of the problem was that I clicked on the link to this thread from the main page (most recent post) and didn't see the subcatagory. I just read the post, and it didn't say directly in detail what we were talking about (because it was stated in the subcatagory)

    But it bugs me that they still do this in many areas of internet business... It's kind of the way of the US, cut everyone else out of the loop and keep everything for themselves. Since day one on the internet I've had to pass up so many opportunities, and buy something from somewhere else because it's USA (often continental USA) ONLY. I mean I understand YPN is in the beta stage, but still... It's not helping them any to cut everyone else out.

    Oh, I haven't run out of time to edit my first post... I thought I had...

    Well I'm glad they aren't accepting international publishers as foreign countries tend to be more likely to facilitate spammers and content thieves (look at Russia with it's copyright laws for example).

    I wouldn't mind as much if they started paying for clicks from other countries, however.

    Well, you do have a point there... But Canada doesn't fall under that category... Wouldn't it be nice if everyone on the internet could just follow proper business practices?

    Clicks from Canada don't count. I asked a rep about this once. He had a slight tone in his voice as if to say, "Well, are Canadians the same as Americans, dumb ass?" ... But as Canada and the U.S. trade and order products from each other as if they were simply two different states in the same country, I don't see why they don't count. Canadians order stuff all the time from the U.S., and Americans order stuff from Canada all the time. I don't think either would hesitate (at least much) to order from the other. It's not like we're dealing with Europe or somewhere else that seems "foreign" and so far away.
