I don't think this news is true; it's just wrote to discreditate google adsense services & promote others
According to Google it's alll under control http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2006/07/let-click-fraud-happen-uh-no.html
click fraud would go down surely, though needs more honest publishers, and webmasters who whenever come across faulty adsense sites immediately report, i have no clue about exact figures percentage wise , it may or may not be accurate.
lol theres a testimonial on the homepage... ahahahahhahahah "Bill was putting a lot of pressure on us to dominate the web portal business, but we just didn't see how we could build our traffic quickly enough. We turned to Click Monkeys!!â„¢ to deliver the uniques we needed to show up in the Media Metrix top 20. Thanks to them, I got my bonus, our site is on top of the charts, and Bill thinks I'm great!" Yeah it really is funny. At first I hated the guy who made those sites but now I think he's awesome, he really pulled off a good joke.
damn, that is what i dont like about contextual ads, the click fraud, we pay good cash in adwords and it goes to waste .
i found this on yahoo news: "Bogus clicks on Web ads continue to rise" http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060717/ap_on_bi_ge/click_fraud
Do i need to worry. Im probs being really silly here but my click rates on my sites are getting higher, its a surprise for me as my click rate has been super crap for the last 2 years. Now im really promoting my sites and the clicks are getting more and more. My article sites is getting more than anything else (i know what your gonna say) but i am worried that there is something going on, as the click rate stated above. I know im just being a knob but my ctr is obviously rising and that bring goog's attention to it and thats the last thing i want. Ive earned more today than i have in the last month. Someone put my brain at rest. Mark
Ha! Oh SarahK, you make me laugh. As for you cashmaker, no worries. Google will simply become aware of your oddly raised CTR and probably delete you, because they just don't care who they delete, they see something even the slightest out of character, and BAM no more AdSense. I kid, I kid. You'll be fine as long as the CTR isn't like 25%.
