From the Information Age article: "The most that aggrieved advertisers can expect from settling with Google is about a half a cent for every dollar lost to click fraud, according to Brian S. Kabateck, a partner in Los Angeles law firm Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP. " I hate class action suits because the victims hardly get anything and the Lawyers are rolling in the money. To be fair I think lawyers should get half a cent for each billable dollar as well.
All people seem to despise lawyers, right up until they sniff the opportunity for: a) free money, or b) a usually ill-advised lawsuit. Just speaking as one who gets to hear the other side of the story. JP
