Click Fraud From Blog Comment Spammers

I've noticed a huge increase in the number of spammers/spambots clicking my ads just to post comment spam on my blog.. and google is reimbursing less than 5% of these clicks..

It's got to the point where i've had to pull one of my campaigns because of this.. 25% of clicks were coming from spammers, and it completely killed my ROI.. so far I've only seen this happening in a couple of competitive niches that I run ads in.. but I'm thinking it won't be long before all niches start getting hit with this crap..

    anyone else seeing this problem?

I suspect things aren't right in a few of my campaigns. How are you confirming this is what is happening?

I had this concern myself so I only rely on search content not having my ads appear on other sites only to be hit with what I consider to be click fraud and the fact that google is not reimbursing you is a real concern.

    Sorry about that Pixel.

How are these people profiting from clicks on your ads ?

Anyone has experience or "hard data" (ie technical details) about Google's detection of "click fraud" and the measures they take?

If Google's detection is not really effective (which I suspect) i'm afraid "Pixel" might be right.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    PS: Hi Mark!
