I support AmCy here. Meso sites appearing in top 10 of google search must be getting those high prices for meso ads. But for small / medium size websites, 2-3 bucks per click is also not less atall. It shall cover the expenses for webhosting and maintenance. I hope everyone gets those valued clicks
Well this sure surprised me... I just did a quick check on all the top 10 sites at google for "mesothelioma", and I couldn't find any adsense banners on any of them!
One of my database pages, specifically targets the SQL language. The number of visitors and clicks remains pretty consistant but daily payments vary between $1 and $50 per day.
They are, but its my blog and I want them to kind of look in place with the rest of the content as I know a lot of people are there for the actual content (art and photography) and not hosting. On me other sites I don't mind, on me blog I do.
I had a single click for $10.64 in one channel one day. My eyes nearly popped out of my head. Normally clicks are a lot less than that. Ross
It's great when you see those big clicks, but I still don't like the fact the click values are very inconsistent. I'm hoping Yahoo!'s new system will offer more consistent click values. AmCy
Someone did a search for Mesothelioma on the Google search option and then clicked on the resulting link. I emailed Google and let them know to invalidate the click (obvious someone was doing something 'funny' on my tech site), but before they did, I saw it paid out $63 and change...
That was awesome NC.... But why you were needed to let Google know for someone searching Meso on your tech site... visitors can search anything anywhere using google search .. whether its google.com or google search on your site... They can be lazy like me, who once get a google search object somewhere, dont bother to go to proper google.com for searcher there after. Once I would have your site open, I would be googling from there itself... right!!
Sometimes you can tell when there was something done that was funny through your logfiles. It was worth the effort to make sure that everything was on the up and up. My account was new and I didn't want to take any chances....
I got a $23 click. Several in fact; as well as $18 clicks and some $7-10 clicks thrown in. And those aren't derived form meso pages. With the huge influx of meso ads, the CPC of that word has taken a hit. I read that someone got a $32 click, but it has yet to be verified.
I'm willing to bet that your site is deep and well developed, and that the traffic to your pages is coming from sources that the AS algo deems high quality, like G or Yahoo! SERPS. AmCy
Ooooh, a mystery, a challenge! I love a good challenge! Maverick: when you figure it out let us know AmCy
I got $64 from 3 clicks in my early days of adsense for search. I don't know what was the term searched, any way that month the unexpected happend. ( got check from google for $100 ) This occured in june 2004. Then never got anything higher than $1
Once in a while when they have class action and high profile lawsuits, those specific keywords can bring in a lot.
