I hope so, thanks. I did get a sudden burst of clicks from South Africa today and that had me worried, checking my stats though all the visits seem to be legit, different cities, browsers, operating systems etc.
I had sidebar ad attacked too. 8 days in a row. I removed it to prevent further attacks. How about you other guys? Which ad was attacked on your websites?
No. Waste of time. It can track only genuine visitors not bots. I already tried it. I tried both statcounter and plugins to track clicks on adsense. Both failed. Stat counter could even detect a genuine US visit.
I'm having really interesting situation lately. I noticed this before click bombing and I see it today. I have app for chrome which tracks my activity in adsense and shows me live my revenue. When someone clicks on the ad I see it this second. I noticed I get click from US, $2, half an hour later, it's gone. And this repeated 3 times today already. It's regular click, not bombing, single click. They took me all 6 bucks from US today, leaving me few cents. I don't know how is this possible because this can't be bombing or any other not allowed activity. Any ideas?
I was going to try it. But I have removed ads for a month now. I tried Ads logger plugin earlier and it couldn't detect any invalid clicks. If you try it please reply with result.
Yes, it seems the spammer took a day off work click bombing us. Expect things to pickup in 24 hours again. lol
Sorry to hear about that. I just received a reply for my appeal a few days ago and they said they generally do not reinstate accounts that were deactivated due to invalid click activity. Sucks right? I used to cash out about 4 times a year, which means I'm down about $500 a year. It's nothing much, but $500 covers my hosting for 2 years (since I pay about $20 a month). My advise to everyone on this thread still receiving click bombs: if you care about your Google Adsense account and this click bombing continues to persist, remove your ads from your pages until you can figure out a way to solve this problem. Do not leave your ads on your pages hoping that you can make it to this month's pay out. @Karthimx, I'm totally with you on this. Google needs to sort out their system and coming up with something revolutionary enough that can efficiently filter out fraud clicks. Because it really isn't fair when we haven't done anything wrong and we are being accused of click fraud. It's absurd. But to be honest with you, I'm glad I'm in no way dependent over my Adsense earnings. There are many stories online of Adsense users who have been long-standing members for 10 years or so. They were earning thousands on Adsense every month...and then Google just deactivates their account. Now that's just a sad story. Anyway, my conscience is clear...I've done nothing wrong. We've all been bombarded with these click bombs and Google's identifying the accounts that are being affected. I remember about 2-3 days after I noticed this unusual activity, Google started changing my earnings to 0% for each website that was affected. I figured that was the way they were dealing with fraud. But no, best way to deal with this issue is to take down your ads even if the click bombs are earning you a few measly dollars. Advantage: I can now accept sponsored posts on my websites. I actually attempted to conform TOO MUCH to the Adsense TOS that I had to constantly refuse deals that would pay. Everything works out in the end.
google is very smart it detects every thing and removes the income of all invalid activities automatically... we do not have to worry about frauds ... dont know how google detect but its always true n perfect.. like god awesome powerful algos of google..
