So I decided to take Affiliate marketing seriously, I am taking the blogger approach until I get the hang of things. Recently I just posted 10 articles to Ezine hoping they go through but that is not what i am posting for. My main concern today is a strategy for using clickbank, even though I have not made a sale yet I know of these guys and how they consistently shave your commissions. So I plan on using a strategy when promoting there products. My strategy for promoting is this, make an account with them and then slowly promote there products. So I would start off by writing 3 articles a day then move it up to 6 then maybe nine or 10. I would then throw away that Clickbank ID then start anew when I reach a 100 dollars a day or every month whichever comes first. This strategy keeps me ahead of there shaving script, bot or whatever they use to decide when to start shaving. I probably will keep an eye on this and when my sales start declining know that this is the magic number. What do you guys think, Is this a fail proof plan or what.....
I agree with this. Too much thinking will paralyse you. You will see gains from minor tweaks only if you are doing lot's of volume.
It's a claim made by people who've experienced a decrease in sales recently. The claim is that CB does not account for all of there sales. BTW - The only way to PROVE that this occurs is to offer a bonus to your customers. You can do this two ways - 1 - You can see their email when they purchase a product. Send your bonus to them once you see the sale come through. Tell them to contact you if they do not get a bonus from you. If they do not get it from you, then they're either lying, or CB didn't credit you with the sale. Take it up to CB. 2 - Ask them to email you their reciept NUMBER. If they send you a number that does not match up with any of your sales, you can take it up to CB. Damn, can't stand it when people complain and don't take some sort of action to solve it. "Jeeze, that's just the way it is. CB is a big player and we can't do anything about it." The bonus strategy is nothing new. All super affiliates do it, and even Yaro Starok wrote about it. I'm going to use this strategy once my sales become more stable. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh.
