Clearing cache after domain change

    Hi folks,

I've just moved my forum to a new server and transferred the nameservers. If I check a few domain tools websites, I can see that the nameservers have transferred. If I log into my hosting via SSH and ping my domain, I get the new ip address for my new hosting.

The problem is...I can't access the new site via my browser, it keeps pointing back to the old hosting. If I ping the domain from my local machine, it returns the old hosting ip address. I got my new host to ping the domain and they also say it's returning the new server so it must be ok.

I've cleared all temp internet files on all browsers I have, I've downloaded temporary file cleaners, etc., but I still get directed to the old hosting.

If I use a proxy to visit the domain, I see the new files, new account, etc. so it's something to do with my local machine.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks:)

The DNS (name servers) have not fully propagated yet, it sounds like. It can some times take from 8 - 30 hours to populate the new recored world wide. Probably just give it a few more hours and than reload site and refresh your browser... LOL

If you can see the new files from a proxy that is good and means that the NS are pointed to the right place.. It is just that the new record has not yet been propagated for your area or nearest DNS.
