Hi all,

I am using xoom.com over the last 6 months. I got my payment in hdfc maximum in 2 days evertime. If i ask for payment within 10 am today, my account will be credited on tomorrow afternoon.

There are two ways of paying tax for us Indians. One is by paying normal tax to government of India (30% of our income ) else the second way which i do is to get completely tax exempted from Tax by taking a STPI License. It may be a little costly but if your's is a firm then i would suggest you to take a STPI and DOT License + Service tax and VAT numbers and then enjoy the benefits of it. If you need more information on what it is and how to obtain this then do let me know i can help you in that.

anyone knows how long it takes for them to clear the fund from us bank account?

 

Recently i have made a transfer via xoom to my bank account but they refunded my payment saying "this payment is refunded in accordance to consumer protection policy" but i have made a transfer with xoom before also using the exactly the same details
can anyone say me why this happened to me

I'm preparing a post for this topic as well. It may be very big and thus i need time till this weekend. (Also im loaded with work) so give me time till this weekend and i shall revert back to you'll with all the details .

For the entire process its 1 week. So it should be within that,

Recently Xoom asked me also to confirm my details as a part of there new consumer protection policy ( i think it came in an email, not sure though). Please contact via the phone number mentioned in the OP and get your queries answered from the authorized person in Xoom.

As per suggested i made a call to xoom customer service and they told me that was a chnical problem and thats why my payment was denied and refunded, so they ask me to make the transaction again and i did so, now let see what will happen, i will keep you updated

I tried to use Xoom to transfer funds from my paypal account to my bank account with HDFC bank. In the transaction history I find this:

What does this mean? I have a verified paypal acc. Please help as I am worried.

 

Dont worry money will be refunded to you within 10 hours, this has happent to me twice, was this your first transaction

 

Yes, they refunded me the funds. Yes, this was my first transaction. Is there any other way through which I can transfer money from paypal to my bank account?

I transfered $220 and they made full refund.
