Cleaning laptop screens, any best ways?

Looking for tips and advice on how to clean my laptop screen, as it is getting quite dirty and filthy from dust and my fingerprints.

I bought a pack of anti-static, non-alcohol wipes that are made for computers and other electronics, but the wipe scratched my screen.

    Any tips?

I always use the anti-static cleaner that came with my mac, use it also in my laptop...
Also you can get some good cleaners and computer stores, you may find it there

Your suppose to use like soft cotton, and only water.. so you don't strip the lining of the screen..

Try doing a google search.. ;)

The clothes I used were soft cotton, and was water based with surfactants.

hmm i don;t think that water is ok with soft cotton. water can pass through glass. i don;t know how but it can. put some cold water in a glass and see the change :p , hmm better if you use little thinner (cleaning agent its a petro chemical) with cotton to clean the screen!

and rub the screen with cotton gently no need to rub again and again if you use thinnner first try will remove all the dist and spots from the screen :p

I am using laptop since last two years and trust me i am only using soft cotton and plain water (no hard water) if needed (any dust spot) to clean my laptop screen. Never used any chemical for that.

    DON.

Like a damp towel or cotton ball. I use a damp towel on mine. And then blow it dry. All while turned off.
